The side LED battery life indicator displays four functions: 60-100%, 30-59%, 10-29% and 0-9%. Alongside the Basal Mod is the 14mm GS Basal Recessed Tank. The tank holds 1.8mm of eliquid with threaded bottom refill system. Utilizing the GS Air Coil Family, the GS Basal Tank includes two resistance options: 1.5 ohm (8-20W) and 0.75 ohm (8-25W).
