There is no question that vaping is a cleaner and safer alternative for smoking tobacco however some people have experienced some minor side effects from vaping that have temporary effects and does differ from person to another since of course every body reacts differently and many people have not experienced any side effects from vaping or vape juice.
Today we are going to cover some of these side effects and how to deal with them:
- Dehydration: some of you may experience dehydration when vaping for long periods of time, the reason this happens is that one of the main ingredients of e-juice is PG which stands for propylene glycol. PG usually attracts moisture therefore you feel dehydrated to help with this feeling you want to make sure you drink a lot of water while vaping or you may also vape on e-juice that have a lower PG ratio.
- Sore throat & cough: many people may experience coughing and a sore throat when vaping for the first time and some may experience it after a short period of vaping. This can simply mean that you are just smoking a high nicotine level that is too harsh for you to handle so you would want to smoke a lower nic level, however if you see that the cough or sore throat is not going away you might be allergic to PG so you are going to have to get e-juice that is 100% VG.
- Vapers tongue: what vapers tongue mean is when you vape on the same flavor for a while the flavor gets stuck on your tongue and you simply can not taste it anymore. You can get rid of this by switching up flavors every once in a while.
- Dizziness: is the last side effects of vaping, usually common in the first month of vaping and becomes less common after vaping for a while usually caused by nicotine. Simply take a break from vaping or lower your nicotine level.
